about edinno

The founders of edinno are themselves deeply engaged in the education technology world as former founders, investors, consultants and leaders in championing positive change for learners of all types. The need for an inclusive community that specifically serves the earliest stage edtech founders arose from their work leading LearnLaunch Fund + Accelerator, a Boston-based edtech accelerator program and fund that has invested in over 70 companies since 2013, more than 65% of which are founded by people who identify as women and/or members of the BIPOC community. Working to meet the needs of those 70+ founders has resulted in reaching over 20 million learners globally, raising $210 million in additional funds and directly employing over 600 people who work day in and day out to improve learning outcomes for their users.

who we are

Edinno is an inclusive, people-focused community that puts authentic learning at the center of everything it does to cultivate sustainable and equitable solutions in edtech. Those aren’t just words, they’re the center of the edinno vision for edtech competencies and the foundation for the structure and delivery of the programming, partnerships and community events that make up the edinno experience.

The training we received on marketing specific to edtech and reaching schools was really powerful - It helped me understand the market through a lens I hadn't experienced as an educator.  After completing the program, PopPD launched our MVP and we are now focused on increasing our visibility, getting users registered on our site, working on our pitch deck, and heading into our first fundraising round!

where authentic learning happens

Being involved with edinno isn't just about attending courses or labs. It's about fast-paced learning and essential insights. The edinno team and community are always willing to help you find answers to your questions.  My company, Brazen Learning, helps build student agency, and edinno strives to do the same for edtech founders! This mission alignment is a key benefit that helps our growth even more.

Edinno and LearnLaunch Fund + Accelerator

But what about the thousands of other founders who have applied to LearnLaunch Accelerator, and other programs, who are not quite “accelerator ready” yet and need to develop more traction? How were their needs being met? How were they learning and connecting with others in this space? How were they being supported to strategically identify and proactively pursue the support and collective knowledge of the edtech landscape? This landscape is understood by a few but sought by so many, and so edinno was born.
